Hello, I'm Mica.

Originally from Argentina, I offer counselling and psychotherapy in both English and Spanish, working with adults online and in person from Stapleford, Nottingham.

My journey into psychotherapy began with a simple question. One day, someone asked me, “How are you?” and they truly meant it. Feeling genuinely listened to reminded me how powerful it is to be seen and heard. That experience stayed with me and inspired me to train as a psychotherapist.

I completed my degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy at Sherwood Psychotherapy Institute. I work in a long-term, relational way, creating a space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.

I believe that healing begins when we are welcomed just as we are. My aim is to offer a warm, accepting and compassionate space where you can feel safe to be yourself.

Welcome/Bienvenido

How I work

My approach is Humanistic and Integrative, which means I draw on different therapeutic ideas while keeping you and your individual experience at the heart of our work.

Therapy is collaborative, and together we can explore what is happening for you with curiosity, compassion and without judgement.

What you might bring to therapy

People come to therapy for many different reasons. Some of the areas you may want to explore with me include anxiety, low mood, relationships, self-esteem, identity, grief, life changes, neurodivergence, adapting to life in a new country or culture, belonging, homesickness, language and cultural differences, or things from the past that may still be affecting you now.

You don’t need to fit into a particular category or have everything figured out before starting.
